CTO, Motherson Health and Medical,

A global technology leader with over 40 years of international experience in product development, operations, and technology management across various domains, including computers, computer peripherals, military applications, medical diagnostic equipment and surgical imaging devices. Known to all as BDV, he co-founded several startups in the healthcare sector. As the founder and promoter of Irillic Pvt Ltd, he spearheaded the development of India’s first fluorescence imaging system for surgical applications. After graduating in Electronics Engineering, he has held leadership roles at BEL, Wipro, GE Healthcare, and GE Global Research. 

BD Vijaya is now the Chief Technology Officer at Motherson Health and Medical.

Sachin Nene

With a distinguished career spanning over 26 years, Sachin Nene has held prominent leadership positions, including an impressive 19-year tenure at GE Healthcare culminating in his role as CEO of AUSA Medical Devices. He obtained a degree in Polymer Engineering followed by a Masters in Business administration, demonstrating his extensive expertise in both technical and business domains. Alongside his professional accomplishments, Sachin is an avid cricketer and a passionate long-distance runner, exemplifying his commitment to both excellence and endurance.

Akram Sheikh is part of leadership team at Motherson Irillic, working as Chief Operating Officer. Akram brings with him more than 26 years of rich experience in the MedTech industry, having worked in senior leadership positions in companies like GE Healthcare, Akram heads the business of Motherson Irillic responsible for guiding organization’s overall direction and strategy. He focuses on the organization’s growth by providing leadership direction and support to all functional teams in their execution to business goals.As part of the leadership team at Motherson Irillic, Akram Sheikh holds the position of Chief Operating Officer.

With over a decade of experience in multi-spectral imaging, Saish Kamath drives cutting-edge initiatives in surgical imaging, with a focus on advancements in Surgical Oncology, Plastic Surgery, and Laparoscopy Imaging Systems for Gastroenterology, General Surgery, and Gynaecology. Leveraging his vast knowledge in AI, robotics, and image technologies, he spearheads the development of innovative medical solutions. Passionate about enhancing surgical precision and patient outcomes, he is committed to driving forward high-impact technologies in the medical field. Saish is the Chief Technology Officer at Motherson Irillic.As part of the leadership team at Motherson Irillic, Akram Sheikh holds the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Arindam Gupta

Vice President - Business Development and Market Creation, Irillic Pvt Ltd

Arindam brings over 26 years of valuable experience in the MedTech industry in India and South Asia, with extensive experience in senior leadership roles in organisations such as GE Healthcare, Elekta Medical Systems and Datex-Ohmeda. At Motherson Irillic, Arindam drives strategy and execution in marketing, business development, establishing a distribution network in India and abroad. Additionally, he manages new product launches and market creation for current and future products. As a core leadership team member at Motherson Irillic, Arindam Gupta is Vice President – Business Development and Market Creation.

Being at the helm at Irillic since 2021, Aanand has been instrumental in formulating and executing go-to-market strategies, creating new market opportunities and managing product development. With vast experience in leadership roles at Wipro GE Healthcare and Medtronic India, where he focused on strategic account management, government business and policy, Aanand achieved commendable and profitable business growth in the South Asia region. He holds a postgraduate degree in Marketing & Operations and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Aanand is Vice President of Sales and a senior member of Irillic’s leadership team.

Ashwin has been with the Irillic team right from the early days contributing towards product development, clinical applications and marketing. He has played an integral part in creating and launching this innovative product. Over the last half-decade he has played a crucial role in transforming initial concepts into a market-leading solution. Now as Product Manager with Irillic he excels at balancing user needs with technical feasibility, adeptly navigating complex challenges to drive scalable solutions. Ashwin holds an Engineering degree with a Post Graduation in Business Administration.
